About | Servais grew up near Maastricht. Having worked at Michelin restaurants such as The Leuf, Librije and Toine Hermsen, Servais founded restaurant Cucina del Mondo and received his first Michelin star in 2017. In 2019, Tielman took over restaurant Beluga in Maastricht and renamed it ‘Beluga Loves You’. With BLY he received a Michelin star in 2020.

He did not rest on his laurels however and has since opened Flavourz by Servais - a fine dining street food concept, as well as Smullies, a premium patisserie and ice cream shop. Both now have two locations, one of which is located in the Foodchurch, an exciting food market in a beautiful historical church. Aside from his restaurants, Servais also runs the Mep Company, which produces and sells pasta, sauces and other food products to other restaurants.
