  • An Unlisted Hosted Stay is a fully curated multi-day stay at a luxury hotel or house/villa/chalet, enriched with one or more unique experiences, executed by the property and a tastemaker. This person becomes a Bearleader. It is a complete itinerary of multiple nights. Unlisted means, off market, not offered anywhere else.

  • Bearleaders Travel B.V. is officially accredited by IATA (Travel Industry Designator Service (TIDS) under number 96228801.

  • A ‘bearleader’ is a well-travelled person with taste, a connaisseur in their own field: Michelin Star Chefs, Artists, Designers, Hoteliers, Owners etc.. They are the insiders of the destination, and your hosts at the destination. Most ‘bearleaders’ are working at our partner hotels, or they are connected to the hotel. The name ‘bear-leader’ was the nickname for the first travel guides in European travel history, during the Grand Tour in the 17th-19th century.

  • Yes, most of our Hosted Stays are perfect for small groups like friends, family, management boards, clients or colleagues.

  • Yes, upon availability. Bearleaders Hosted Stays are not events. They can be booked on any date on request and upon availability of the host and the property or hotel.

  • Yes you can. Upon availability of course, but our luxury hotel partners can be flexible to adjust the number of nights, or change something in your itinerary.

  • Remember we said ‘Unlisted’? Bearleaders Hosted Stays are not offered anywhere. We work very closely with the hotels. The final booking happens with the hotel, and you can also pay directly to the hotel.

  • No not the entire time. It is like a normal stay at a hotel, but it is enriched with a unique experience, and often hosted by an insider who is connected to the hotel: Owner, Michelin Star Chef, GM, Sommelier etc.

  • You have to send a request first, because Bearleaders Hosted Stays are unique, curated with care, and exclusively offered by Bearleaders.

  • Your payment is made at our hotel partner or your travel agency can book for you, just like a regular booking.

  • In case the hotel or a partner has to cancel the experience or the stay due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be reimbursed according to their cancellation policy.

  • No, we don’t. Bearleaders doesn’t book your flights or transport, but we can revert you to a travel advisor who can. Our hotel partners can arrange a transfer from and to the airport if needed. In some cases this is even included in the packaged itinerary.

  • It doesn’t matter where you live.

  • Bearleaders Travel B.V. is an official registered company, but we are not a travel agency in the traditional sense of the word. We specialize in the curation and B2B distribution of Hosted Stays. Our partners are your hosts.

  • Our Destination Guides are filled with tips of The Bearleaders. We update the guides when we receive new tips, and at that moment we check the recommendations.
    You always need to check if the recommended address is still open, and if the quality is still good.
