A Hosted Stay is a fully curated stay at a luxury hotel, enriched with a unique experience, hosted by a Bearleader — a tastemaker closely connected to the hotel or to the destination. It is a complete itinerary of multiple nights, including breakfast, dining and a unique experience, hosted at the hotel.

A Hosted Experience is an experience without a stay, hosted by a Michelin-star chef, Sommelier etc. This is without a stay included, since it is held during the day.

A ‘bearleader’ is a well-travelled person and a tastemaker, a connaisseur in their own field: Michelin Star Chefs, Artists, Designers, Hoteliers, Owners etc.. They are the insiders of the destination, and your hosts at the destination. Most ‘bearleaders’ are working at our partner hotels, or they are connected to the hotel. The name ‘bear-leader’ was the nickname for the first travel guides in European travel history, during the Grand Tour in the 17th-19th century.

Yes you can. As a matter of fact most of our Hosted Stays & Experiences are perfect for small group stays & experiences with friends, family, management boards, clients or colleagues.

Yes you can. Bearleaders Hosted Stays & Experiences are not events. They can be booked on any date on request and upon availability of the host and the hotel.

Yes you can. Upon availability of course, but our hotel partners can be flexible to adjust the number of nights, or change something in your itinerary.

Bearleaders fully curated Hosted Stays are created in co-creation with our partner hotels. Bearleaders Hosted Stays are not offered directly by the hotels. Our concepts are unique, non-googleable, personally hosted offerings.

There are no hidden costs, so it will be like a regular direct booking, except you will be treated as a VIP. The final booking happens directly with the hotel, and you will also pay directly to the hotel.

On the Hosted Stays, a unique experience is part of your stay, and hosted by a ‘bearleader’. In some cases General Managers, Hoteliers, or Owners are your host. They make sure you will receive a VIP status treatment. He or she, will welcome you personally, and will make sure your stay is carefree. You will receive insider access.

On the Hosted Experiences the chef or the sommelier is your host for the day (or part of the day).

You have to send a request first, because Bearleaders Hosted Stays & Experiences are unique and curated with care. Non-googleable, and exclusively offered by Bearleaders. That is why we need to send you the full details by e-mail first.

If you decide to book, we will bring you in direct contact with the right person at the hotel, so they can check the availability of the host etc.

You will receive a confirmation directly from the hotel. Your payment is also made directly to the hotel, just like a regular direct booking.

There are no hidden costs or fees. We work closely with our partners as a marketing & curation company.

Only when we customize a tailor-made offer for you, we will make invoice you directly.

In case the hotel or a partner has to cancel the Hosted Stays or Experience due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be reimbursed according to their cancellation policy. You will receive a formal confirmation by the hotel.

No Bearleaders doesn’t book your flights or transport. Our partners can arrange a transfer from and to the airport if needed. In some cases this is even included in the packaged itinerary.

It doesn’t matter where you live. Anyone can book Hosted Stays & Experiences (upon availability), and we will be pleased to assist you with your booking.
