About | Ashley was born and raised on the small island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, a childhood steeped in sand, sea, and island rhythms. As a teenager her family moved to the United States so she could pursue her education. She later graduated with high honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in Interior Design and Business. After university she returned to the tropics to work on Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson’s private island, where her career with Virgin Limited Edition truly began.
Those early years immersed her in luxury hospitality and ignited a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences. Craving a change of pace, she swapped flip-flops for ski boots, and moved to Switzerland in 2011 to join The Lodge.
She progressed there and was honored to become General Manager in 2015, leading the team through exceptional seasons. She’s happily married with three beautiful daughters, and she fully settled in Switzerland for the foreseeable future. When she can carve out free time, she loves road biking and skiing.
