What to do in Oslo
VIGELANDSPARKEN
Visit the worlds largest sculpture park. It is Gustav Vigeland's life work (1869–1943), comprising over 200 sculptures in granite, bronze and wrought iron.
THE ROYAL PALACE
The Royal Palace stands at the end of Karl Johans gate in the heart of the city. Open to visitors during the summer months, it serves as the official residence of Norway’s monarch and is surrounded by the impressive Palace Park. Don’t miss the captivating changing of the guards—a memorable spectacle. This continues year-round.

VIN Tjuvholmen
A wine bar located at Tjuvholmen, right by the waterfront with views of the Oslo Fjord and Akershus Fortress. They have over 100 wines by the glass, thousands of wines by the bottle, and simple food dishes like cheese and ham, pâté, caviar, and lobster soup, etc., all adapted to the wines.
SVANEN
Many modern cocktail menus resemble an apothecary’s shopping list, but this is a bar in an actual apothecary. One of the best cocktail bars in Norway/Scandinavia and you sit in a venue of cultural heritage from the late 1800s.

It feels, smells, and tastes like Italy. It is a pizza place with just a few tables and a proper family-style atmosphere. It is the best pizza in town.

An informal restaurant with an international feel to it. It’s a nice spot for a delicious lunch or a cosy dinner. The wine list is a work of art with a fantastic selection.
