About | Sjoerd has been working as a sommelier in various Michelin-starred restaurants throughout Europe. Currently he is working as the operational manager within the 212 Group - Restaurant 212**, Restaurant De Juwelier*, Bistro de la Mer*, and Auberge - to strive for excellence within all restaurants. He strives to make wine fun and accessible for everybody. Originally he is from Maastricht, the capital of Dutch “Burgundian” Gastronomy.
