Apply to join this four-day gastronomical fiesta in sunny Javea, in the company of your hosts, Bearleader in Food & Hospitality, Two Michelin-starred Chef Erik van Loo of restaurant Parkheuvel, and Ferry van Houten, owner of Boutique Retreat Casa Coline, Chef & DJ. Join them for unique culinary entertainment with like-minded food lovers from June 25-28, 2024.

On this journey, you will experience the best seasonal and locally sourced ingredients from the South of Spain. You will also enjoy an exclusively designed menu of beautiful dishes, lunches, cooking together, wine tastings, and many opportunities to discover more of the area.

Where you will stay

You will stay at Boutique Retreat Casa Coline or the newly opened Mi Almazara Boutique Hotel, only 400 meters from Casa Coline. Both are close to the sea in Javea, on the Costa Blanca, in Spain, between Valencia and Alicante.

Javea is a true hidden gem with a year-round sunny climate. It offers lovely beaches and gorgeous bays with beautiful turquoise water. There is lots of greenery and nature, including Montgo Natural Park and a fun, buzzing restaurant scene at the waterfront of the lovely little historical town of Javea.

At Casa Coline, Ferry van Houten organizes four-hand informal dinners with his chef friends, like in this case with two-Michelin-starred chef Erik van Loo of Parkheuvel in Rotterdam. The main objectives of this experience are fun, good food, entertainment, and meeting like-minded people. Expect poolside parties because the DJ booth is part of Ferry’s kitchen.

The area bursts with the finest tomatoes, olive oils, fresh fish, and delicious wines. Expect a culinary fiesta with the finest food and like-minded food lovers.

This unique experience will be hosted by Bearleader in Food, Two Michelin Star chef Erik van Loo (Restaurant Parkheuvel), and Bearleader in Hospitality Ferry van Houten, owner of Boutique Retreat Casa Coline, chef and DJ, accompanied by his partner Nicoline Schipper.


The Program

Join this Bearleaders Culinary Fiesta in Javea

Day 1

Check in at Boutique Retreat Casa Coline or Boutique Hotel Mi Almazar. Ferry van Houten and Erik van Loo will give you a warm welcome. You will be served refreshing cava and tapas.

The informal dinner is served at Casa Coline, and you can meet all the other guests.

Visit the market in Javea and cook with a Two Michelin star chef

Day 2

Start the day with breakfast a la Erik & Ferry at Casa Coline.

At noon we are going grocery shopping on the Denia Mercat and we will have lunch.

In the afternoon, there is time to relax, do sports, or enjoy nature or the beach.

In the evening, there is a dinner with Erik & Ferry at Casa Coline.

Day 3

We will have breakfast at Cala Clemence.

Noon and afternoon, you can spend it as you wish. Relax on the beach, go hiking or discover the old town of Javea.

In the evening, you can expect a dinner spectacle with Erik & Ferry at Casa Coline.

Day 4

In the morning breakfast is served at Casa Coline.

We will all have a farewell lunch at Lulu Beach Club with Ferry and Erik.

We will transport you back to the airport or you will continue your journey.
